hiring the gallery...
The space can be hired in different capacities:
Spaces Available:
Gallery One
Front room plus window space – $500 (2 weeks)
Gallery Two
Middle room - $200 (2 weeks)
Gallery Three
Back room - $200 (2 weeks)
Gallery Hours:
Wednesday – Friday – 12 – 6pm
Saturday – 12 – 5pm
Shows open on Tuesday evenings 6-8pm
The rooms:
Front - main room
Dimensions - 4.5 metres x 6.5 metres.
Middle room
Dimensions - 3.3 x 4.2 metres
Alcove
Dimensions - 1.5 x 3.3 metres
Back Room
Dimensions - 3 x 3.3 metres
Hire info
374 Gallery will provide.....
- Full supervision of exhibition for the duration
- Public Liability Insurance
- Assistance with installation
- Basic materials and tools to return walls/floor/ceiling to pre-exhibition condition
- Listing and profile of exhibition via street press, daily newspapers and community radio arts based programs as well as our mailing list
- Option of assistance with flyer design, printing and distribution available (may incur extra cost)
You will need to provide....
- Transportation of works to and from gallery
- Invite/flyer design, printing and distribution (*unless optioned)
- All costs associated with show opening ie. food, drinks etc
- Insurance of artworks
- Restoration of space to pre-exhibition condition
Terms and conditions of gallery hire.....
- Exhibitions must run for a minimum of 2 weeks
- A non-refundable deposit of 25% of hire fee is payable on confirmation of booking
- Balance is due 2 weeks prior to exhibition opening
- There is a 10% admin fee taken by 374 Gallery on all works sold unless otherwise negotiated prior to booking
- **Please note that in the event of exhibition cancellation,the hire balance will NOT be refunded unless 60 days prior notice is given and that in the event of an exhibition postponement, an extra 25% non-refundable deposit will be required.
