Rock Prints Christmas Exhibition returns once again to 374 Gallery this Christmas with a selection of new and exciting rare and limited prints available to view and purchase. Many items of the collection have rarely been seen since their creation and have stored away from the general public for decades plus we have a limited selection of popular pieces still available from our previous shows. All items on exhibition will be available for sale so this is your chance to take home your own slice of rock’n’roll history – the perfect Christmas gift for those “hard to shop for” people!
Rock Prints Christmas Celebration is a rock’n’roll poster exhibition with a difference featuring a huge collection of prints from avid collectors, archivists, artists and music lovers, from one-off signed prints to pole posters and festival shows, the collection is a snapshot of popular culture & its influence on modern art.
Taking you on a journey from the 1960’s Psychedelia to the emergence of Punk in the late 70’s through to contemporary artists of today, Rock Prints highlights the work of leading artists who fused their visual talents with the musical vision of the era's influential bands to create some of the most enduring pop culture images of our times. The exhibition includes images of such musical icons as AC/DC, The Rolling Stones, Beach Boys, Nirvana, Bob Dylan, The Pixies, Pavement, Rage Against The Machine, Tom Waits, Pearl Jam, Neil Young, The Clash. ROCK PRINTS CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION due to popular demand is now opening over two weekends so that all those souls heading to Meredith Festival or those leaving town early these holidays all have a chance to witness and purchase their own slice of Christmas rock from this unique collection. We are also offering a framing service for posters available on sale which will be ready for collection prior to Christmas so that you can give that someone special the gift they really want.
